Well done to each and every one of our juniors that competed in the National Junior League at Ellenborough TTC over the 2021-22 season. The tournament was a massive success, thanks to all the players, their parents, and our coach, Keith Fung, for their tremendous efforts and support throughout.

The tournament, running from October last year, required two BATTS teams to travel down to Ellenborough Table Tennis Club in Enfield on four dates to compete against other clubs from across the country's south – each day consisting of three blocks lasting two hours, with each player playing nine matches every visit. Every one of our players showed great enthusiasm, dedication and most importantly for this event, teamwork.

The fourth and final day of the NJL was on Saturday 5th March and unfortunately, injury and other unavailability got the better of some of our players, though we were able to scrape in a couple more players – including one from Ellenborough TTC. So thank you to Joe Hunter who was willing to compete for the BATTS team on this occasion.

Thanks also to Gordon and Charles at Ellenborough TTC for organising this very well run tournament.

Here are all the players that played at least once in the National Junior League for BATTS this season – well done all!

Pablo Ramirez Rioja, Yuvraj Singh, Charles Donald, Kenneth Man, Blayk Marquis, Callum Heath, Tobey Sage, Matthew Jones, Joe Taylor (stepped-in from ETTC).
